I finished this online course today and I just wanted to say I really enjoyed it :)
I'm not an expert (yet) but the course was a great introduction to how to get the most from the organizer.
I've gone from knowing next to nothing about the organizer.........to having most of the 3,000 pics in my computer tagged and have made my first back-up discs (handy if the worst happens) :)
Next up is the Layers course!

Jo-Jo,
I must admit that Organising & Sharing Your Photos is the one course that I haven't taken....I've muddled through the Organiser on my own with the help of a book, a DVD & some advice here. Have been thinking about taking it though.....
I'm sure you'll really get a lot out of the Layers course...taking it was the turning point for me - like going from darkness into light....

Hi Bayla,
It definately is the way to go if you don't feel you know enough about the organizer.
I had only been using the program for a week or more when I started so I certainly soaked up everything.
I loved the way Matt showed how to do something and I thought to myself "I've never seen that button before".
Funny what you miss when a program scares the hell out of you :)

I am on lesson four now and I have noticed that the sound quality is awful. I also feel that everything, so far, could have as easily been understood from reading the user guide that came with Elements...I am disappointed and think this tut is not worth $25 (I was very happy with the tut on "The Digital Photography Workflow) . Most of what anyone would like to know about organizing and sharing one's photos is free on www.lynda.com (which I just found and is a very good source for training on numerous photo topics). Check it out.

Hi Photojoe,
Welcome to the forum :)
Personally I had no problem with the sound, I find I learn best from watching someone doing stuff so the course suited me down to the ground. Especially as I had never used anything like the Organizer, so I was completely green
I am a bit disappointed though to learn the back-up part of the Organizer does not work as it's supposed to
Glad to hear you enjoyed "The Digital Photography Workflow", I'm trying to decide what to do next. I'm a big fan of Scott Kelby, might leave that one till last!
