All of a sudden when I click on the PSE3 everything on the screen goes to a much less resolution and stays that way until the PSE3 is totally loaded and then it goes back to original high resolution.
Also I had calibrated my screen and it was fine til lately and now when I save a picture instead of asking if it is RGB or sRGB color space it has the name of I gave the calibration "Den with side light" which is weird that started about the same time as the PSE3 started going kaflooey. I reinstalled the PSE3 and the color calibration for the moniter Spyder Pro 2 to no avail.
Any ideas????????????????????
Thanks
Sandie

Ok, Wendy or anyone who is an expert here can you help me here?. this is a problem and can not seem to fix it. the PSE3 seems to work but when I click on the icon then everything seems to change resolution until the software totally loads then it comes back to regular the the exception of color space does no longer say sRGB or RGB but says what I named the calibration of the screen. I totally removed that software and reloaded but it did nothing to fix the problem so then I removed and reloaded the PSE3 but that did not change anything either. When I go to control panel it does say 32 bit and highest resolution. Could loading the Canon software have done this?

Sandie,
Try resetting the preferences. Press and hold the CTRL, SHIFT and ALT keys as you start the Editor. You will get a pop-up box asking if you want to delete the settings. Yes, you do.
