I managed to delete two brush catagories while trying to save a special effect brush. Ran Restore option from CD but it did not replace the brushes. Checked Adobe forum w/o success. Is there a way to restore the lost brush sets w/o having to reinstall the whole program?

Did you try to load brushes. Click the brush tool, from the drop down of brushes click the little black arrow in the top right of the drop down menu. Click load brushes. When the window opens, go to your drive where the CD is and find the brushes on the CD.

Thanks for the reply. Gave your suggestion a try but it didn't work. There are no brush (.abr) files shown and you can not change the file type (.abr) in the dialog box to get to lower level directories to search for them. I have already search the CD with Explorer but could not find any brush files. They must be conceled within another file like the .cab file.

Have you try to change your folder preferences to show hidden folders?

What is a PM? I don't think I have received anything from you.

Mustang, look in the top right of the screen were it says Welcome Mustang. Under it will say Private Messages: Unread 1. Click on it and it will open the message.
