I cannot download several of the recent Killer Tips. The downloads start but shortly after opening and showing the "Progress Bar", it kicks off. Has anyone else been experiencing the same problem? Thanks in advance. Ed Weidman :)

A lot of problems reported in Threads here recently dealing with video downloading and playback.
Check out Forums for more details.
Bottom line: keep trying.

I finally was able to load and view Week 19. I downloaded week 18 several times and on two different computers but when I try to view it, it gives me several errors, one of which says, "Error 2048 - the file is not a movie file". Then it goes on to give me a couple more errors.
How can we get the message to the right people so that it can get corrected?

Hi,
I use itunes to download them automatically and never have any trouble. I look on the PSE website to see when a new one is available then go to itunes which keeps them all arranged by date. I was an itunes rookie when the KT started but I must have done something right as they all download and play on the pc just fine.

Dina,
The powers that be are aware of the problems and probably are monitoring the reports that are filling recent Threads. So, you posting your message will go a long way for them to gauge what is happening currently. You may have caught them when the Server was being maintained and/or they were working on the file.
But, you can also do anyone of the following, after you check out your system:
(a) Send a private message to tfry
(b) Send an e-mail to the Webmaster, via Contact
(c) Contact Customer Service by e-mail or telephone (info under Contact).
But, as I said before, keep trying. Lately, it may be a multi try process before you finally get the download.

As Bridget said, I have no problem either using I-Tunes to download the podcasts. I subscribe to this and the photoshop podcasts as well as other and just have I-Tunes auto download the new one.
You might want to try I-Tunes and the neat thing is it will save them in order, so they will always be available to play on your computer.

I-tunes works fine for me however don't force it to download. What I mean is that I-tunes will try to download the new one but sometimes you will see the work "Get" off to the side. This is an indication that it is unavailable. I kept clicking and eventually it completed but it was a bad file. Unfortunately I had to delete it and never could figure out how to download it again using I-tune. I was able to get it from their site. Same thing happened this past week so I just waited til the following day and got it.
