Does anyone know how you go about getting the free video when you are chosen for picture of the week in the subscriber area? If they email you I didn't get an email but I may have deleted it by error or it may have gotten filtered out in spam. I've been known to delete spam w/o looking at it. I deleted my password that Pano's sent me for his site, now I have to re-request it. Thanks for your help.

Hi Charlotte

I forget how it is set up. I would just send a PM to Tami and I'm sure she will send you in the right direction.

Thanks for the response guys. I just sent Tami an email.

Kimi, you said "Congradulations again", did I miss a thread or post regarding the I/O/W? I've have been jumping in and out of the forum so much I haven't seen any posts regarding I/O/W this week.

Charlotte,

HERE (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23003) is Tami's thread announcing IOW & all the congratulatory posts. May I add mine here. Your images are really vibrant. Can I be cheeky - did you actually capture that shot with the lightening in it or have you photoshopped it? Either way it's pretty impressive!:)

Oh Bayla, sorry to say you are right. I tried to get a lightning shot but just couldn't capture it, darnit. So I put Elements to use. I had a picture w/lightning but the rest of the photo was bad, so I replaced the sky. I started to delete the picture because I couldn't get the trees to look right I kept clipping off the outline of the trees. I'm not too good on selections yet. After working with the photo for a couple of days I said what the heck and went ahead and posted it. I'm still trying to get the trees to look more detailed so if you want to take a try at the photo please do. I want to frame the picture. The old place is next to my mom who lives in the country and they are about to level it and build a subdivision:( so I thought I would get a shot before it is flattened. Lots more about to bulldozed so I'm still taking pic's and I will post them also and I will probably be asking for help on them too. I really like the second photo that was posted better than the first. Guess you had to be there.

Charlotte,

No need to apologise, I think it's brilliant! Like you though, I prefer your second image....it's got a real spooky feel to it....
