Wendy,
Thank you! I have several new pictures of my great-niece that would work great as a flower fairy!:)
Edited: I did it! Posted here (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?p=251793#post251793) and in my gallery.
Thanks, Wendy, this was fun and I can't wait to hear what Ryann's Mommy and Grandma (my sister) have to say about it!

I just saw Kim's Baby in a Flower and came looking for a thread on it before I posted one since I have been away for a couple of days. Wendy this is great and I too have to find a baby or I could just wait a few weeks til my friend has hers. She better give me permission to post photos.:D

Kim,
I started this thread (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23120) when I posted it. I want to do another one as soon as I finish some prom pics I took yesterday! Ryann spent a lot of time sleeping last weekend when I saw her, so I have several sleeping baby pics.:D

Thanks Wendy for a lovely tutorial. No babies in my household, but this is Josh whose mother is my daughter's friend.
This is my effort. (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/view_img.php?id=20238)

Here's my little flower fairy. Like Robyn, no babies yet (6 more months to go:D ) so I used my daughter when she was a baby instead.

Gorgeous! Damn-now I have to find a baby!!
I have plenty of pictures of babies, but not one of a full length baby asleep or awake! They're mostly close-ups of of babies being held! Guess I'll have to bookmark this one until the next grandchild comes along!
Love all the images so far:)

Nancy,
Great job, I'm sure your daughter will love it!:) I guess it's still a little early to find out if you will have a granddaughter or grandson, do they want to know?

Her first ultrasound is in 3 weeks so we may know then. Yes they want to know too. Travis wants to know as soon as possible since he may not get to come home from Iraq to be there for the birth.

Nancy,
I'm sure it's hard for Travis to be away and for your daughter to be without him. I've seen on the news where in some hospitals they do so a videocam feed to the soldier in Iraq so he can "be there" for his child's birth. Maybe this would be a possibility??
My nephew, who served as a Marine in both Afghanistan and Iraq, got out of the Marines in December and has a baby girl on the way. We're excited for them.
Let us know how the ultrasound goes! All of you are in my prayers.:)
(I'm at work now, but I'll send you the e-mail this evening!)

I wish them luck. Hopefully he has completed all his reserve time as well. Travis was out and was on inactive reserve and was called back. They have promised him he can get leave to come home but nothing is ever definite with the army. The video feed will be plan B.

Nancy,
He spent 4 years in the USMC and just got out in December. I would guess that he is now in the reserve period, but we'll just hope and pray that he doesn't get called back. Hopefully he will begin college this fall...
I sure hope they keep their word and let Travis have leave!

Kimh, Thanks! I found it when I was looking for flowers for Colleen. Daisies are my favorite flower and I was tired of the old avatar! I think the eyes blink faster on this forum than on the original!:D
