How do I remove a thread? I have asked questions, got the answers and comments that I needed, and now the thread should be closed. How? BillandCat:D

Do you think that the thread might be helpful to someone else? I know I have got lots of helpful hints from other threads. I have deleted posts but not threads, so I'm not sure if you can delete the same way.

I deleted a thread way back after it was answered. Then it was suggested that I just leave them because it might help someone else down the line. So I wouldn't worry about it. I totally agree with Charlotte!

Lot's of people search threads for questions they have and find the answers in long dead threads. It has been discussed before and agreed by all that it should be left in place so it can help others down the road.

If all the threads were deleted there would be no forum:eek: Plus, only one person, the original poster, would find the answer to that particular problem.
Then, of course, the search facility wouldn't work:D

If it ever happened a lot of people would get very bored wondering what to do all day long (and all night long in some cases):D

Bill,

Please don't remove your threads - all past threads are a valuable resource for everyone to use; kind of like a dictionary for problems.

Karen :)

Please don't delete, I always try to search for my answers before I post a question! :)
Thanks,
