This was done in response to an article in a magazine that so called hunters are paying big money to shoot these magnificent animals just to prove how macho they are.

What a nice tribute to these magnificent animals. How anyone could kill one is beyond me. I had a nice surprise on my way to work this AM. Two deer crossed my path as I turned onto the street of my employer. I slowed to watch them for a few minutes, even made eye contact with the doe. She was beautiful. God's beauty is all around us if we just take the time to enjoy. I do wish I would have had my camera with me!

Sherrie,
pleased you like it.
You were very lucky to make eye contact with the doe. In the Forest people disturb a doe with a very young fawn, she leaves her baby but only until the people leave. If the people are unaware they touch the fawn, not realising that that babe will be abandoned. The message is getting across but not fast enough.

Kev,
Wonderful animals - I thought all (gun) shooting had been stopped and you were only permitted to use a camera. I know when we went to Kenya some years back, we did the big five shoot but it was camera only.

Karen,
you are right about Kenya but in China and parts of India it still goes on. In China there is a man who breeds Tigers, he is a member of the UN conservation committee, they have now found out that he slaughters them and sells the meat in his park's restaurant. Some kind of man,eh?

Wonderful montage. I like the film frames. It is so sad that in some countries shooting of these beautiful animals are still being shot.
