View Full Version : MAC installation of plugin problem

I've downloaded a trial version of Noiseware for Mac OSX and when I run the installer it says I don't have a recognized compatible host. When I click to add a host and navigate to the PSE4 plugins folder it tells me the folder is not a compatible host. I restarted the iMac and tried again with no luck. I went to the PC and downloaded the Windows version and the installation worked perfectly.

I've successfully installed other plugins from Alien Skin, etc. and I've never had a problem. In fact, I've been amazed at how much easier it is do do it on the Mac vs the PC. What should I try next?

TIA

Hi Wendy,

I thought I read on the site that it was compatible, but I'll go back and check. Thanks for the suggestion!

BTW...your Queen is in my general neighborhood today! We're celebrating the 400th anniversary of Jamestowne. Maybe I should practice my curtsy?:)

Just checked. It says "Mac OSX 10.3.x/10.4.x (Power PC/Intel)" so it must be something else.
