Kimi, your recent addition of your daughter Holly (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/view_img.php?id=19999) is beautiful. I just couldn't help but think it would also look nice with the porcelain effect. Hope you don't mind I played with it and hope you like it.

Thanks everyone... they really do grow up way to fast. Her sweet 16 ball was lovely but the whole time I kept thinking.....
I wish I could go back and do it all again. Not different but I would realize how valuable it was in the moment.
As you can see, I am having a hard time loosing my baby. :o
Kim, I love your effect. Can you tell me what you did? :)

Kimi,
Hope it's OK to jump in & answer for Kim as she's not currently online.
Kim put up a tutorial a few weeks ago on the porcelain effect...you can find it HERE (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22152&highlight=porcelain+effect). I'm presuming this is what she did to your gorgeous picture of Holly. I spent one week giving all my images the porcelain look & the next Ortonising them all:D

Kimi, so glad you like it. I don't usually change someone's work but the photo of Holly was just perfect for the effect.
Bayla, thanks for adding the instructions. I actually used the action I got from PhotoBlast at www.ezactions.com (http://www.ezactions.com) (the action cost $6 US) but the instructions are he manual way to get the same effect. I kept all the setting at the default of the action except for the feathering of the edge. I dropped it to 50% since the image is a closeup.
