I decided to limit the choices to the number I could count on one hand. Even then, it was difficult to make my "short list" short enough! (I had help, though, in that one of the original winning entries was removed from the Gallery by its owner...:eek: )

I love Ms Cardinal; can never get close enough to them even with my 300mm. I talk to them a lot when they usually set up to hold court on the highest branch of the tallest tree, but can't convince them to come down and visit. Great shot.
