What is the most effective technique for eliminating crayon marks with PSE 5 ?

Leapyear,
I assume you are refering to a picture that someone has marked with a crayon. I would propably start with the Clone Tool. If you would post the picture here there are many accomplished restorers that will give you help. To post picture go to Pixentral> upload to Pixentral> when the picture is displayed in their window scroll down to bottom and copy the URL, it is the combination of leters and numbers and symbols that starts with URL and ends with URL. It is a long sequence be sure and copy all and then paste to this message window.
