Raw files will not load into Organiser

I have PSE4 and have upgraded my camera from a Canon 300D to a 400D. The Organiser will not recognise the new CR2 files from the 400D stating they are damaged etc. I can load them into the Editor though.
Is there any update that will solve this.? (I have the latest PSE4 update installed)

I think you need a later version of Camera RAW, but I'm surprised that the Editor will load them.

The last version of Camera RAW that Adobe state will work with PSE4 is ACR 3.7, available here (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=3592).

ACR 4.0 has now been released, with some nice improvements to functionality. Download it here (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=3611). Adobe state it is not compatible with PSE4, but a number of people have reported on this forum that it works fine. I don't have PSE4, so can't speak from first hand experience.

Either ACR 3.7 or 4.0 support the 400D.

Much obliged Nick. Version 4 of ACR works fine for me as well. It loads images into the Organiser and has, as you say, additional functionality in the Editor.
