Shoot them in the sun

Yesterday I got visitors.
She had heard that I could make something
with computer stuff, so she came here with
her child. She wanted her deleted cdrom
back that she had deleted of burning App (Nero burning ROM).

I looked at the deleted cdrom, and recovered all her
photos, so she got all her recovered files back.

Then I shot some pictures.

The left side of the below photo show how most
dogs and small children attitude when they
see me.

It is the same child on both side.
Less 5 minutes between each shot.
Notice the difference between the left side
in shadows, and the right side in sun shine...

Your picture looks good! Normally, shooting in sun goes against most convential wisdom, since it tends to add unflattering, harsh shadows. This also depends on the time of day, though. I think your first picture has pretty good lighting; it's just lacking a bit in contrast and the shot doesn't look as "warm".
