We have been struggling with so much late snow, rain and high wind, I didn't think spring flowers would ever come here. There probably have been 100+ pictures of tulips in the past 3 or 4 weeks.
I don't care. I was so excited today I must have taken two dozen pictures of four tulips. Yeah, only four but more buds are coming :D :D
I temporarily parked 4 images in my gallery :)

Rusty, you got me beat. Out of all the tulips planted around my yard only one survived all this nasty weather and bloomed. And I can't even get a picture of it because a friend borrowed my camera and hasn't returned it yet. I am goin to have to go get it tomorrow before the poor thing is gone.
BTW, how pretty

Rusty those are excellent! Nature throws some aweful curves, and then when least expected gives us just what we need. Harvey

Chuck, starting to wonder what I was thinking. She has the Rebel film camera but she is selling her house and wanted to take photos to make flyers and didn't want to wait to get film developed and on CD. She has had it more than a week. Beginning to worry. She usually returns things promptly. And she knows my camera is my baby. It took alot to get me to let go of it.:D Tomorrow is going to be a beautiful day. Going to have to go rescue it and go take some shots. Today was my last day at Olan Mills and I am ready to take some photos of something besides kids.

Kim, hijack away :)
I forgot that you, of all people, right across the lake, know exactly what kind of spring I've had to put up with.
Now that I finally have tulips, the deer may eat them tonight :D
Pink, Gail and Harvey: thanks for looking and commenting. You may recall the beautiful "Glass Orchid" posted some months ago (I think by Hamish). I was attempting to do something like that with one of these. Didn't work near as well. I think the color and shape of the flower you are starting with has a lot to do with it.

Hey Rusty,
My tulips and daffodils are shot but my dandelions are great; why doesn't anyone ever take pictures of dandelions?

Thank you, Kim R,
Chris is still at the age where he breaks into a great big smile when he realizes a camera is pointed at him. I will enjoy that while I can :)
