Just a few photos taken three years ago at a smal local fund raiser. Photos were taken using an older 35mm film camera. Was unaware of the event until things got started, so of course I had the wrong film and the wrong position to be in. Lots of noise had to be removed with many touch ups. Most of them turnded out really nice. However reducing them doesnt do much justice.

Enjoy

Buck: Those are really impressive! You can increase the image size for your gallery pictures to a maximum of 700 pixels on the larger side. I'd love to see your fireworks a bit bigger...

Buck: You're welcome! And I'm so glad you increased the size. They are even more outstanding now! Did you scan prints taken with your 35 mm camera or are they scanned from slides?

I scanned my prints. Like I said I was caught off guard by the event itself until it got started. I had ISO 200 film in the camera. After scanning there was a lot of noise that was magnified. Got plenty of practice using the dust and scratches filter in PSE. Not to mention levels / hue sat / I'm sure I added several more steps than was necessary but got the effect. Still learning

Nice results, Buck,

Scanning from print (I assume relatively small) to digital is always a chore. I especially like the next to last one in 2d row where you have one sharp burst on the left and a motion blur on the right.
