I have no real views either way and I do only post for interest and because this is such an 'international' site.
The average UK temperature for April 2007 was 3.2C higher than any other recorded April. Records go back 300 years!

Ted, That's quite a warm month, realatively speaking, about 5-1/2 F. Whether it is specifically attributal to global warming is probably arguable. But the evidence is very strong (to me undisputable) that it is occurring. Unfortunately it has become politicized, at least in the USA, so progress will have to be done on the private side. I better quit now, because I might just get up on my soap box.
