Now I can officially welcome you to the forum. Your photography is super. Are they from up around there? We've got a full spring down here in Lebanon too. The tulips have passed but we have rosebuds. I bet someone is going to want to know what equipment you used. Take care.

Welcome to the forum. I was just admiring you wonderful photography. the flowers are beautiful. I am like Robyn they are all great but I just love pictures of flowers and fenses. How long have you been at the photography thing and PSE?

Kimi, It's a neat small town with quick access to a lot.

Thanks, Gail. All these flowers were shot in the Portland neighborhood called Ladd's Addition. It is a beautiful old neighborhood, inhabited now by young families (with money!). They were taken on a field trip with my photography class last Sat. AM. This morning we went to the Arboretum at 6 AM to shoot magnolias but it was very breezy so hard to get decent shots. I will post a few when I get finished editing some. My camera is a Canon EOS Rebel XTi and most of these were shot with a 55 mm lens, some on tripod but a lot hand held. Fun, isn't it? Pat

Thanks, Vesta. I'm glad you like them. I started with PSE 3 several years ago and upgraded to 5 6 months or so ago. I have recently been taking some photography classes and they have helped me use better techniques for my photos. It is all fun.
