Let's make these people jealous of us living in San Diego.
Recently I went for a bike ride from Spanish Landing to Pt. Loma Light house (only 20 miles), but it looks further. The strip of land in the background is where I rode to (and back). It wasn't the clearest day for pictures but it gives you an idea of how beautiful San Diego can be.

Bob,

Would you share the particulars about the exposure... shutter/aperture/ISO, etc? What post-processing?

It looks like you've got a winning combination!

Byron

Shutter speed-1/50s
Aperture-f/11
ISO-200
Focal lenght-18mm
Mode-Aperture Priority
Quality-RAW
Whit Balance-Auto

Post processing;
saturation- +20 (I do this to all my landscape shots)
increased brightness, ran a curves to layer to bring out the highlights a little more, and used high pass for my sharpening. Thats about it for this one. It came out of the camera pretty well. I also cropped a little bit from the sky and the left side of the frame.
