New user needs some help.

Hi I am a new user to Elements 3. I tried to make tags to a group of my photos and a red symbol that looks like a picture that is torn in half is now at the bottom of each of the tag photo's. Each time I enlarge that a photo in the a search automatically takes place in elements. I do not know how this got there, and what it means. Can anyone help me out.

Did you move the pictures from one hard drive to another? One folder to another?

When I did that I got that little symbol you mentioned.

You must have moved the photos after you had "imported them into the organizer.
Select all
Go to file--click on reconnect (all missing files)
It will bring up a box that is searching--after a few moments if it has NOT found the files on it's own, do the browse & it will let you "direct" it to the pics location. then click reconnect.
Don't move your photo files without doing through the organizer--it really messes things up--that's bad thing about organizer :(
