Great choices once again, Tami.

It's funny, I was going through the galleries last night trying to decide which ones I'd pick & I mentally made notes of different categories...I decided on Wendy's for my favourite Scrapbook LO, Eva's for my favourite Animal & Paul's for my favourite B&W...& Lo! and Behold, there's all three of them as IOW runners up!

Oh Wow, thanks Tami. And thanks everyone else. This is my first and I am so shocked. I was just playing around with different modes and masks and frames last night.

Congrats Linda, I love the orton effect and the puppy is so cute.

I say the same - Oh Wow - thanks Tami. I just got here. I took the photo of the trees last Saturday when I got out for a short walk. I love nature so much and just being in the trees and seeing the new leaves coming to life made me take a photo. And yes Kimi - I used a slight buzz.
Linda I love the puppy. Hopefully on Monday we get our new rescue Dachshund, she is not a puppy as we could not cope with that but she is a mini so she is small. Kim, Eva, Wendy, Larry and Paul - I really liked all of your images when I first saw them. I honestly do not know how people pick. But it is an honour to be on the list this time.

Eva, another good squirrel shot. I guess I should have mentioned the duck in flight was taken in Vegas in the garden at the Flamingo. I have a sequence of the duck on a rock with the water cascading over it and I kept shooting as he got closer to the edge and took flight. I duplicated the layer and changed the blend mode to screen and erased just the duck. Then added the edge from and edge pack I downloaded from somewhere. If you look in my gallery the same shot is next to this one and is a little dark for my taste so that is how I came up with this version.

Thanks again Tami for choosing it. Hubby now wants it printed to hang in his office. I didn't show it to him til after I saw the winner's for the week and was shocked I got an Editor's Choice.

Oh wow, I am soooo pleased and shocked to see my picture as IOW.

We returned last night from collecting the new puppy (not the one in the picture, that is Molly, new pup's Aunt) and have been away for a few days.

Decided to camp out next to pup's crate for the first couple of nights and consequently really, really tired as pup obviously didn't stay in crate and spent the night with me.

She is sleeping now and thought it a great opportunity to ignore the work I could be doing and catch up here - and there was my picture:D Suddenly I am not so tired:)

Very happy and now very motivated to take loads of pictures and play on here.

Enough of my waffle, congratulations to Shari, Wendy, Paul, Larry, Kim & Eva, all wonderful images.
