Grants tools install help PLEASE!

i need to intall grants tools that ive downloaded to my mac desktop for a class im taking.. i see them on my desktop but i dont know what to do with them now and how to get them into PSE?

i have PSE 4.0 for mac -- the more basic explaination the better! haha..

keri4140: I just installed Grant's Tools on a PC with PSE3, but don't imagine it would be different on a Mac with PSE4.

Make sure PSE4 is closed. Put the Grant's Tools in your Photoshop Elements 4.0>Preview. Delete the three files each in Cache >filters and >effects (PSE4 will rebuild those files when you reopen it.)

Start up PSE4.

Grant's Tools should be in the Styles & Effects Palette under Effects.

Actually, one layer deeper, in Photoshop Elements 4.0\Previews\effects - just plop the whole folder in there

Delete the three files each in Cache >filters and >effects

really, you only need to delete the effects cache files (since these are technically effects) - :cool:
