View Full Version : Help ! - 120 degree shadowing

Hi there,

I am designing a billboard for my company. With the text I applied a second layer made the colour black and offset it to give a shodow effect, which by the way I thought looked very nice :-)

I have just been advised to "loose the shadowing affect and use a 120 degree shadowing " which will give a pop out effect. I think because of the angle of the drivers passing by. I went to layer styles and applied "Drop Shadow - High" which looks ok, but how do I make it 120 degrees?

Thanks in advance!

Tony

Hello ! Just double click on the little cursive f on the layer in the layers palette that has the applied style...I think the default is 120 but go ahead and check it out...you can change it from there.

Hi Tony,

Open up your layers palette and look at the layer that has your drop shadow on it ... next to the thumbnail you will see a small (f). Double click on it and a pop up menu will appear ... you will then be able to change the angle using the little dial at the top of the menu:).
