Can anyone help me with Crop Shapes. I keep reading the tutorials and nothing helps. I want to have the edge of my photo assume the shape of one of the Crop Shapes available on the Artwork and Effects palatte.... I can't find any posts on this.

Welcome to the fourms.:)
You need to ues the cookie cutter tool from the tools bar to crop a shape.
The ones in the A&E folder are more for adding to your photos. I am pretty sure all the shapes are the same in either.
One thing you could do, is use the A&E shapes as a clipping mask to "crop" your photo.

Wow!
That was easy.... after at least 20 attempts using the wrong method. It worked beautifully.
Can you give me an example as to how one would use the A & E Crop shapes
I know how to activate them and get them onto a photograph.... but what do you do with them..... write text in them?

Sorry for laughing, but that is all I can come up with as well. I know there are probably a cagillion uses, but my "creative" talents are way below those of some of the folks around here.
Hopefully one of them will be around soon enough.:)
