Wendy's new tut is a really fun one. I didn't want to hijack Sherrie's thread so lets see everyone's bead creations here.
Here's my take on it:

Those are amazing.
I am missing out on some great tutorials by not being able to get Quicktime to work.
I would really like to join, but I want to be sure I can play the tutorials before I sign up.
I have installed Nero and was able to play a video I was unable to play with Media Player, so I now have hope I can play tutorials without Quicktime.
Are there any free tutorials in the format you use in the subscriber section - where I can download the freebie and see if Nero can play it?

Those are really cool!! Only one hw assignment to complete for EA.
Janice, don't worry, I'm always late to play, thus far I've done only 2 of Kimi's assignments, but they're coming.....:D

Thanks Wendy, but I guess I'm outta luck
I can't figure out a way to tell the computer to use Nero to open the videos - it goes straight to Quicktime and says "failed to initalize." It does very clearly say that one needs "Quicktime" to view the videos, so maybe there is no way to use Nero.

Janice
Have you tried right clicking the file and choosing "open with" then looking for Nero?
If so and that does not work..maybe trying an older version of quick time may work. I had trouble not to long ago with the newest version of quicktime so I uninstalled it and reinstalled version 7.1. Now it works fine.

Hi Wendy - thanks. The layer style I used was Heated Stainless 1 PS7 by John Woods. I don't remember what I used on the Jewels. Kept trying my different styles until I found one that would go with the silver.

I used two different gold layer styles (one on top of the other) but can't remember which ones :o . Same thing with the jewels and the background was done using a gradient with the blend mode set to difference.
Thanks Wendy, it is a great tutorial and the brushes are terrific.
Karen :)
