I have Snapper Cat's layer styles and was wondering if anyone knew
1. Where to get more of these?
2. Are they available for commercial use? or where I could find that out?
thanks
Suzanne

Hi Suzanne ...

It may be worth trying Adobe Studio Exchange and doing a search there :)

They are there. I put Snapper Cat in the search and had no problem. If you click on her name there are a whole lot more styles that same author posted.

One thing I've found at the exchange - it appears the search engine is case sensitive. You almost have to know how it was entered originally in order to find it. Sure wish they could get it straightened out. I used to really enjoy getting stuff from there but now it's too much of a pain.

I have several of Snapper's Layer Styles I downloaded before they changed the site and they are some of the highest quality styles available there. I can't get anywhere in Studio Exchange since they changed it.

Suzanne, one thing to remember is after applying a style, you can scale the style with Layer > Layer Style > Scale Effects or by double clicking on the Style Setting icon in the layer you applied the style to (a small burst symbol in version 5).

thanks Diana, I hadn't tried the scales effect yet, that is way cool!
you don't happen to know anything about commercial use of his stuff do you?

As I remember, some of the items submitted for free download on Adobe Studio Exchange mention terms of use in the description or refer users to the author's website for more information. I get so frustrated with that site since they changed it, I rarely try to use it any more.

Suzanne,

Here you go....You can probably contact the author, Snapper McGauhey, through this site:

Hi Nancy ...

Thanks for the tip ... :)

Studio Exchange is certainly still having major problems ... I'll try stirring things up again and see what happens :)

I also think Studio Exchange is really confusing and difficult to look for things. It is just not fun trying to download and find things on it. I also hope they can make it more enjoyable to browse.
