The purple one started as rows of flower brush

This is addictive

Beautiful Janice. Isn't making your own paper fun? I usually get kits for their embellishments and just make my own paper.

Jane - I just love making paper - it takes a long time for me to come up with a "keeper" though.

I learned how to make brushes from dingbat fonts - that's what started this new interest in paper. That butterfly brush was a dingbat.

Michelle - time to get working on that paper

Found something to do with it - but I don't know if it will print up too dark - will probably try lightening it before printing.

Janice,

It's very beautiful and elegant. After trying to create a scrapbook page, I have new respect for "Scrappers". It's much harder than it looks to create just that perfect page.

Anita - the ability to do a great scrapbook page almost always eludes me. I have done one I'm proud of - and two that are pretty good - but the rest are pitiful. LOL

It's a skill - there's no doubt about that.

Here's the one I'm proud of.

I made the background paper for that page.

Janice,

It's beautiful. The colors you used are just perfect with the colors of the seals and the water. The background is perfect for it.

Thanks Anita - I used the color picker to choose the background colors. One of my very favorite things about Elements is the ability to pick colors out of photos to use in projects. I am not at all good with colors using the color swatches palette - thank goodness for the color picker.

For that page, I started with a free template someone had posted. I turned it around and changed it to suit the project, but it gave me a starting off point. That helped also.

I've "scrapped" Sea World "to death" - all the pages I've done were done from those photos. Need to go on another vacation. LOL
