regarding Noise

I'm trying to follow instructions in the second lesson video, but my computer is not offering REDUCE NOISE as an option; only ADD NOISE. That allowed me to reduce a little bit, by adjusting the slide bar it had, but there was no option for adjusting the clarity. What's going on??

Are you using PSE2?? ... I'm afraid that the reduce noise facility was only added with PSE3. PSE2 doesn't let you do this :(

There are other ways of reducing noise so do let us know if you are indeed using PSE2

Thanks Wendy. Apparently I AM using PSE2. Is there a tutorial or this version?? I have been able to find the other lesson applications so far. Let me know. THANKS. Tiger

hi Tiger,

PSE2 is very similar to PSE3 its just an occasional thing that is different. Basically the techniques stay the same so I would suggest that you try out any tutorials and if you get stuck then leave a message and one if us will try to find a workaround for you.

There are still lots of PSE2 tutorials around ... here are a couple of sites:

A few of us do still have PSE2 on our PCs as it helps us check out problems in different versions .. so if you need any help just ask :)
