Hi,
I made this because a friend gave me the poem. I've left out 3 verses so that it would fit my page and be easy to read. The locket I made with various objects from my collection. The cat is a photo from my collection but I was deeply moved by the poem and want to share it with my forum friends who are pet lovers.

Kev, that is beautiful. So sad, I wish I had that poem when my Ruby passed away.

The poem could be used for either cat or dog. In Victorian England, widows used to keep a lock of their dear departed's hair in lockets, brooches and rings, now it's pets.

Gheeze Kev!!! You may get me to start actually liking cats!!! This is also adorable!! The poem is very sweet! The coloring is terrific and what a cute kitten!! Very nicely done!

Well, Kev, I wasn't going to log in right now until I saw your post. The poem is very touching and I think I have seen it before on web sites for greiving pet owners. You did a very nice job on the page. Now to swallow this lump in my throat. Happy Easter!
