Edits do not show in my Organizer

When I edit a photo it shows up in Explore as an extra edited file, but it no longer is denoted in my Organizer. The photo shows up there as though it was unedited. It used to show up in a special framed window with an area to click so I could pull out the the original photo from under the edited version. The edited photo was on top. When I click to save the edit the boxes are checked that say, "Include in the Organizer" and "Save in a version set with Organizer. How do I restore the the ability to see the edited photo in the Organizer? Thank you. RogerH PS. I am a new user. This is my first post.

Hi and welcome to the forum -

In the Organizer workspace,

do a File > Catalog > Recover

This is a general catalog cleanup and compacting. It is good to do as periodic maintenance. And specifically - it often will stop this problem of the version set not being correctly created from happening on future edits.

However, it will most probably not fix completed edits. Here is a link to a description of a method for manually creating version sets.

Now that process is tedious, so hopefully you only have a few to do.

Thank you so much Barb O. I have 50+ photos to fix so they will show on the Organizer. I haven't tried the link yet, but will try that as well. I appreciate your reply and advice vedry much. Roger H.

Glad that fixed your problem.

I would gradually do a few at a time for those 50 + you have to fix. For me, attempting to do them all at once would be more frustrating because it is repetitive and tedious.
