Putting name in "Author" data field

Hi all,

Is there any way to add my name to all the photos in the organizer? I believe that maybe I could have done that when I put them in. I know I can do it one by one in the Editor.

Any suggestions?

Steve - I don't think there is a way to batch process to add Author name (in Editor, Organizer or when you upload). You could select all the photos in Organizer and tag them with your name but then your name would finish up in the keyword field not the Author Name field. You can do it in Irfanview which is free (and a useful program to have anyway) - it's very easy to do but to get your name into the Author Name field (at least in my version of Irfanview) you have to put it in the Byline field. There doesn't seem to be much of a standard when it comes to naming IPTC fields :( .
