Element 5 to CS3 ???

Is it possible Adobe would ever allow a cost reduction for users of elements 5 to go to CS3 or is this wishful thinking.

They do offers every now and then ... the last one finished a while back. I think that it was an upgrade for $299.

Now that is an interesting question. I've been wondering the same thing myself, since it seems that with the new Elements 5 that we're getting closer to the original program. Where would we come across notifications of such upgrades? Diane

If you've registered PSE5 you should get an email (unless you said no to getting emails from Adobe). I suspect that it will be a while before they make an upgrade offer for CS3 - the $299 one for CS2 that I got was towards the end of the life of CS2 - I figured that I'd go the route of getting CS2 and then upgrading to CS3.
You may well still be able to get the $299 deal for CS2 as they are still offering it for Elements that came bundled with cameras like this one:

If you want to try, call the 1-800 number and tell them you want to upgrade from Elements and you may well be lucky - I was :)
