I would like to know how to have the path and file name show in the organizer. I'm trying to organize my photos and it is just one more step to have to do a right click to view the properties for each photo.

That's easy - just go into Preferences and check this box:
896
Then make sure the show details box is checked in Organizer. You'll just see the file name but if you wave your mouse over it you'll see the path details.

Thank you so much for this information. I knew that someone could answer it a lot faster than it would take for me to find it! Now I have no excuse to keep from organizing all of my photos!

If you are not already doing so, the Folder View can show both the full path for each folder. You can change this in the lower left corner (Oldedst, Newest, Folder or Import Batch). You can also see a preference to show only the files in folder or all folders.

I can't seem to find this option in PSE7 (upgraded from PSE4 where it existed), has it been removed?

It's still there but they made it more prominent by moving it out of preferences. It's now in the view menu.

Duh didn't even think of looking anywhere else but in preferences, I should have known better after searching for days for some familiar option in Vista or Office 2007 :) Thanks a lot for the pointer!
