I'm trying to resize a pic that i recieved from a friend of mine. I'm wanting to use them in a motion project which the frame size is 720x 486. I tried opening a new document in photshop and set the resolution to 720x486. When I imported the pic it was way to large. Is there a way to decrease the size of the pic whitout losing quality?

Hi,
What I do for video stuff (720 x 486) is to open the image make a copy and resize the copy to the size I want.
Go to Image > Resize > Image Size and resize to 720 x 486.
Just make sure you make a duplicate of the orginal image and save under a different name and resize that, so you still have your full size image.
To save a duplicate...
File > Open (image name) File > Save As (new name) then close the orginal and work on the new image.
