Trouble with puzzle video

I have watched Corey's puzzle video & am "mostly good" - but I can't seem to get past the spot where you select some of the pieces to remove them. I have selected the Magic Wand, have tolerance set at 3, contiguous, & anti-alias set, but when I click, ALL of the pieces get selected.
What am I doing wrong????

Change the tolerence to 1 ... then make sure that you click in the centre of a jigsaw piece :)

Also when you apply the puzzle texture make sure the relief value is up at 12 or more. I think the default is lower and that makes it harder to select just one piece.

I reset the tolerance to 1, clicked in the middle of the piece, and set the relief to 17 - it still doesn't work. Any other ideas?

Judy: That's a puzzle because I can't think of any reason why it shouldn't work as long as you're on the gray layer with the puzzle pieces are showing on it. When things don't work the first thing I usually do it Reset the tool - click on the Magic Wand icon at the left hand end of the option bar and click on Reset Tool. See if that makes it behave.
