I was just practicing some grunge techniques that I have learned and created a bkgd paper that I think looks pretty neat. I posted it to PixCentral. Feel free to download it if you want :)

Just click on the thumbnail below and when the full size image finishes loading, just right click on it and Save Picture As and save it to your computer.

I get emails from a website that periodically offers a free download sample of hi res textures. Here's the latest:

He also has some interesting tips/tutorials posted there that, although written for Photoshop, the same ideas could be applied in Elements. I especially like #22 Colorizing a B&W photo with a texture.
