Looking good Carol, The pictures from the D80 make it look easy. I suspect
your skill has something to do with it to.. Tom :)

Gorgeous. I love that you can see the texture on the pink dogwood petals. I have pixel envy! I love my D70, but think it's time to start saving for an upgrade! You've provided me with the inspiration today. Thanks Carol.

Carole,
Beautiful flowers. The creation you did for your parents anniversary is stunning. It's a great camera.:D

Carole, I missed your note, but I too just linked to some pictures that I took with my new D80 in the Pixel Hangout Forum. I also just love this camera! Your pictures are great! Have fun!

Debbie,
I got the D80 two weeks ago. I love it. I thought it was going to be too large for one hand to handle. I was wrong, it's a good fit.:D

I agree! I used the 18-200 Vr lens, but, I don't think they mean for the vibration reduction to compensate for a 40 lb. dog pulling you along!

I'm jealous, I want the D80 also. I have the D50 that's only 18 months old so not sure hubby would go for it. Brenda

Brenda, you could do what I did.....I gave the D50 to my husband so I needed a new camera. Then we could approach photography as a 'couple' activity. I even throw in some challenges....that gets him going! Just a thought.

Too much fun!! These are pictures of flowers in my yard. I figured they might be gone tomorrow, its supposed to freeze tonight. Decided I'd make a collage from them. I love it my new camera. Take the pics, come inside, download and make something from them. Too cool! Wish I had tons more time to take pictures.

Byron, that little bug on your web got me. I thought there was a bug on my computer screen at first. Very funny, haha.

Brenda, I almost didn't get the D80 but I had the excuse of my birthday and anniversary close together. I told him I wouldn't want another camera probably for many years to come. He also wanted my old slr Canon film camera. I loved that camera, too, but I dropped it one time and it has never focused just right since then. I do believe I am going to love this D80 because you can take the pictures, download and then see what you've done first. I've taken several hundred pics since I received it just 2 weeks ago. Hope you can get one sometime. I debated whether I would go with the D80 or D200. I believe for me the D200 is just too much camera.
