We are so fortunate to have a lovely large park in downtown Ashland, KY. Here is a photo I took today. I used the Orton effect and Jodi's frame:

I added a couple of others to my gallery from today, too!:)

That is just beautiful Kim, I am really looking forward to seeing some greenery, still a bit gloomy here in Boston.

That's lovely, Kim. Displaying a bit of ignorance (maybe a lot) what's the Orton effect, and how does one apply it?

Kim, Jancy, Kay, & Gail,
Thank you for your comments!:)
Jancy, It has been 80 here the past couple of days and everything is so green and pretty!:) But now the rain (thunderstorms) has started and will be bringing highs in the 40s for a couple of days and snow is predicted for Easter. I'm so glad I made it to the park when everything was pretty!
Gail, Someone gave a link to directions for the Orton effect (http://www.pcin.net/update/index.php/2006/11/01/the-orton-effect-digital-photography-tip-of-the-week/). It gives the images a soft look.
