Pics from projected images

I find this interesting as I have been experiminting with a rig or jig I made and set up to take photos from projected slides. I have found, to my liking, that the best way is with Tiff but the difference is very little from jpeg. I have tried commercial services but why go to the bother than "do it your self." Much more fun. Any body interested in how etc., let me know. Not only is it "more fun" to figure out how to do something yourself, I know it's a heck of a cost savings from what the commercial services charge.
