I can't remember if I told you all about this picture already. Forgive me if I already did....

Last summer some of you might remember that my 24year old daughter had 3 blood clots in her lungs and we almost lost her - it was very scary. Well now we can laugh about it (sort of) with these pictures I took of her in the hospital.

She kept saying that she was "NOT loaded!! when the picture says otherwise.

She would lift up her head, drop it down on the pillow, say my head is so heavy, and then drop off to sleep instantly!!

She would wake up sort of disoriented (morphine does that) and she would (every time) ask what all those wires were for.

I wasn't sure why I took pictures but now I'm glad I did!! Aren't they funny?

Hi Andie ...

You must have been so worried at the time but they do make a great scrapbooking page .. :)

What a nice layout for such a terrible theme! I especially like the busy background along with the font and simple speech bubbles. It gives it just the right feeling.

Bet you're glad THAT experience is over! Glad you can look back on it and laugh.

I'm so glad that experience is behind you and your family! Your scrapbook page turned out great - it shows the courage & humor that you found as you supported your daughter through such a scary event. Thanks for sharing it!

Andie,
what a wonderful record of a terrifying time. That you can look back and laugh at it, is proof of the resilience of the human spirit. Well done!!!

It is great to be able to laugh about it in retrospective. I'm sure glad it all turned out okay. They are great pictures to have.

Andie, I'm so glad that she recovered. That had to be a terrible time in your life [probably the worst time in your life].

Great job with the montage.
