Wendy- It seems like every couple of months I remember to look at your gallery and I find several new and creative images that I didn't know were there! I don't remember the digital valentine or the Summer 2006 one... and, of course, there is the new Allison and Mark collage... I'm going to have to set up a calendar reminder to check your gallery more regularly- Great images!

Those are really great Wendy. I love the bows, ribbon and how you threaded it through the paper. Very Nice!
I would like to learn how to make bows like those. (hint, hint);) :D

Hi ...
Glad that you like them ... I must admit that I do tend to forget to update my Gallery so every now and then I have to prod myself into posting something new :)
At the moment I am still into scrapbooking and making kits for new layouts is one of the things I especially enjoy.
The Ribbons are all hand done and I'm not sure how I could do a tutorial on how to make them ... I start off by working from the back to the front, drawing each individual shape before filling it and then using Dodge & Burn to give it shape. There are around 20 layers in this one as each section need to be on its own layer.
One tip is to make things like this in shades of grey and then you can use a Hue & Sat layer to make it any colour you like :)

Wendy, I just love your creations! The ribbons and bows are awesome and all the embellishments you make from scratch are simply wonderful! You are so talented. I love the one you did of your parents...that is so beautiful!

Wendy
I know you love layers - I remember the restaurant scene where you had how many layers? The biggest project for me so far is 63 layers.

Wendy, Love the new additions in your gallery.
OK, I know how layers can grow on you,and I do like to mess with things some... but I think I
better skip any attempt and wait for the CD to buy!!

Hi Nancy ...
Tiffanys ... still in my Gallery :) http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/view_img.php?id=4118
and it has over 500 layers
I did take me quite a while to do :D :D
For anyone who doesn't know Photorealistic painting (or creating an image from scratch ... not by painting but by using various photoshop techniques ) ... is something I love doing.
... and Bert Monroy is my hero !!

Hi Jancy ...
It actually isn't as bad as it sounds ...
I tended to do individual items in there own file and then import them into the main image ... plus using Photoshop means that I can have "folders" in my layers palette and tidy things away in them. That does make working with lots of layers so much easier.
When I originally did this image I tried to pass it off as a photograph ... some people worked it out but a lot fell for it :D :D
