Right now the Yucca's are all ready to bloom. Here's a few for your pleasure. They make numerous bell shaped flowers which later go to seed, though I never tried to grow any that way. They are pretty common here. One really needs to avoid touching the leaf tips as they are needle sharp, remind me of a lancet, and sting (OUCH) when puncturing the skin!

We had a couple of yuccas in our yard several years back and you're right, you don't want to touch them!:eek:

Really great shots Harvey. I have heard of a Yucca but don't recall ever seeing one before. They do look like they could sting a little or a lot.:eek:

Nice. We're a couple of months at least until our Yuccas bloom. They are pretty.
