Looking for ideas. These are some photos I took this morning in DC. Not sure how I'm going to arrange them yet. I put the layout as the main photo in my gallery.

Mark,

I love seeing the blossoms every year- what great shots you got of the area as well. There's so much you could do with these pictures- a collage (like you have it) works really well- you could put drop shadows on the pictures, or do bevels, or do frames or strokes around each picture. you might also try different background colors- the purple in the sky in the bottom left picture, or the silvery white of the blossoms?

Great pictures- they deserve to be framed!

P.S. There are a group of tutorials in the video tutorial section of the subscriber tutorials that would be great for just one of the pictures. Not sure if you've seen those?

Mark, nice shots and montage. I too have always wanted to visit DC with the blossoms in bloom. My parents did once but when my Mom got the film developed the roll she had sent in with the blossoms was lost by the lab. She was so upset as she knew she would probably never get a chance to go back. Unfortunately she didn't.

Mark those are wonderful photos.
The top and bottom ones on the left are outstanding.
I really like the way you have displayed them.

What beautiful shots. I love the one with blooms framing the basin and the monument. The montage is really nice.

Those photos are breath taking - the clarity - the subject matter - the lighting

The grouping, as it stands, looks good - I think the photos tell such a powerful story - they don't need alot of "stuff" to make the collage better

Great photos Mark.

I don't think you need do much more with them as too much 'titivating' will take away from the beauty of the photos.

Thanks for all the kind words. The cherry blossoms really are something to see. When I took these yesterday I read in the paper that they are only at 30%, so I might go back next weekend and shoot some more. The park service is anticipating about 1 million visitors to come into town to see them this coming week.
