slide show won't go tp pe3

Hello and HELP,
I upgraded to pse5 and pe3 to be able to send slide shows to pe and add more variety off effects, especially to keep the pan and zoom from pse as well.
However I have tried every combination I can think of with sending from the slide show organiser as they say in the tuttorials, to an open project , to just pe open , to it not open. I have tried starting in pe and getting media from organiser, Nothing works. When I try to send the slide show from the organiser, it says it will put it on the end of the timeline (good, I think) after 10 seconds it says it has encountereed a problem and needs to close down. Everything else is working in both programs works. I can send jpegs, psd files wmv files but slide shoes wont move?????? please help

I have sent a slide show from PSE 5 Organizer to PRE 3. The message that it will put it at the end of the timeline is normal. Unfortunately I don't have any ideas of what would be different on your machine or in your slide show to cause it to fail. Here are a few questions to see if they provide any clues about what your problem might be.

How much RAM does your computer have?

Do you have any videos that you added in the PSE slide show process? If yes, what type of video file?

What is the duration time of your slide show (as shown by PSE slide show editor), approximately how many photo files and what is the megapixel resolution of those photo files?

Are you sending the slide show from PSE by using the Output command during the slide show creation process? Or are you saving the Creation then clicking on the icon for that slide show in the photo browser and using Send to Premiere Elements from the right click menu?

Both of the approaches are valid - but I am curious if you are using the PSE slide shsow Output command, are you saving the Creation before you use the Output command? (I am not sure if PSE is always enforcing the save of the creation before doing the Send.)

If none of these questions resolve the problem then I suggest that you contact Adobe tech support on the next business day.
