Walking thru the dog park last Sunday was a drab, muddy experience. For about a half a mile the only color to bs seen was some uninspiring green moss. Then my eye caught a leaf that had tenuosly hung on to it's branch throughout the long winter. As a reward for its tenacity, the sun's brilliant rays gave it beauty again for all to see.:)

Nice shot Ron. What a survivor that little leaf is.

Ron,
Shots like this are really not by chance you were looking for something and it caught your eye. Ron do you have your camera with you most of the time on your walks? I like how you worked it up.

I don't normally take my camera to the dog park very often, especially in the winter time. It's a hassle keeping Denali chasing tennis balls or swimming and taking pictures. The fall is by far the best time to carry the Nikon. After doing it for so long your eyes pick up photo ops that most people wouldn't see.
Even more interesting with digital, your first review of the day's work might not disclose anything wonderful. Then you look at them with a full screen slide show and the light goes on. You see things you can do with PSE to create a great shot; the same picture taken with film and printed would probably wind up in the trash.
