Technically, I'm satisfied with it, but artistically????

I may just print it to see what it looks like on paper

Hi Janice,
Is this going to be used as a card? Or . . .?

You've done a very nice job -- as you say, "technically." And if it is for a card, the only thing that kind of bothers me is that the colors seem very, um . . . maybe the word is "somber" . . . for an anniversary card. I wonder what it would look like if you played with the hue/saturation adjustment a bit, and tried some different colors or shades.

Hi Janice,

I agree with Linda that you did a super job in creating this. If you still have your layers files on this you could change maybe just one layer a little bit with the hue saturation as Linda said or a blend mode. Just a thought.

I've come to the conclusion it's an artistic "mess" - I've played - it's beyond hope. LOL

I enjoyed creating it - but I doubt I would bother to work with it or print it.

I thought the only thing that could save it would be pasting it on a pretty colored paper - but I don't think I'm even going to try that.

Back to the drawing board.

I feel I'm getting pretty good with Elements - but that artistic gene still hasn't kicked it - in fact, I think it's left town. Not trying to be modest - just know my skills are more technical than artistic.

But I'm having fun.

This is what I was working on tonight. I think I'm stuck in my tan/teal period - LOL

I know it's a little boringly symetrical and I sure wish I knew how to make ribbon - but this is where my brain always takes me.

When I go out of my artistic "zone" I get the original posting. LOL

I really like the background paper, with the subtle print on it, on that one, Janice. Keep going and let us see the finished product. Looks good!
