Hi everyone,
I know this was brought up a while ago, but as an update, Canon has provided a software download supposedly to fix the downloading of images getting the "No valid files found" message, when using a USB download from an XT (and other Canon cameras) to a Vista computer.
I downloaded and installed the software, but I still get the message "No valid files found" when I try to download the images. The PC recognizes the XT but can't see the images. I modified the Downloader EXE, setting the compatibility to Windows XP and clicked on "Run as an administrator", still no luck.
Has anyone had any success with this? I want to make sure I did all I can.
