Diable organizer

Is there a way to set PSE5 so that it doesn't automatically save files to the organizer? I know that you can un-check the options each time you save, but is there a way to disable it completely?

I do not like the organizer to handle all of my files. When I download from the camera I create a file (I have my own method of cataloging my photos) on my hard drive and copy the files from the camera card manually (copy & paste). Elements does not have to be open for this, you can do it through explorer under the my computer icon. If I decide later I need them in the organizer I can bring them in at that time by opening the files while the organizer is open. If you are not used to creating files and moving them then you should not try this method yet.
I am sure that others may have feedback to share as well.

There is no way to disable it completely. It just puts a link in the Catalog, so it's not too big a deal. I don't use it, but occassionally forget to uncheck the box. If you want to, you could just delete the catalog file every so often.
