What's the best way to post an image? I keep running into the file size limits. Thanks.

Robin, Welcome to the forum. Your grandson is cute!:) Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Are you a subscriber? If so, the gallery reads:
IMPORTANT: image must be in JPEG format, no larger than 700 pixels (wide or high), and at a resolution of 72ppi. Maximum file size: 300k.

Pixentral (http://www.pixentral.com/) allows you to upload and then post images 2 MB or less. You upload the image, then copy and paste the code listed by Forum at the bottom of the page onto your post. That will give a thumbnail that can be enlarged by clicking it on in your post.

Hope that helps. Be sure to ask more questions for clarification if needed!:)

Robin,

Welcome Welcome! This is a great place to be. Your grandson is a doll. We Grandmas are lucky to have such great subjects, aren't we? :D

He's a cutie. Welcome to the forum. Keep up the good work. It gets easier the more you play. Can't tell you how many photos I have deleted. Have a problem - just ask. Everyone here is so helpful. This becomes addictive.

Have a great day.

kroberts--i don't quite understand what it is you are telling me.

is my photo to large?

if so do i delete it and resize and then repost the picture in the gallery?

Hi Robin,
When kroberts discussed posting images in the gallery and also mentioned Pixentral, she was talking to "prouss" whose question is in Post #7 on the first page of this thread.

People often use Pixentral to show pictures here in the forum when they need advice or help, and they don't want to put the picture in their Gallery.

Your gallery is just fine, and that's a great photo of your grandson :)

Have fun,
Steve
