By burner is not working. I think I need a program called Sonic which I think I deleted by mistake. Is there any way to retrieve it or download it from somewhere.
Or maybe that is not my problem at all.
Help!

You need hardware as well as software to get the job of burning to CD done.
The hardware being your CD or DVD/CD Drive. Along with that you will need burn software, popular brands being Nero, Sonic, RecordNow etc. If you say you have deleted your Sonic burn software, then you need to reinstall it. Did it come with the CD or DVD/CD drive? If so, it should be on the installation disc.
Before that, why not check your program files to see if your Sonic software is still there? Maybe also look to make sure that the CD or DVD/CD drive still exists in the system? To do that, Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager. Then look for "DVD/CD-ROM drives". If there, click on the plus sign next to that category, and look for your drive in the drop down list.
This all is assuming that Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements burn features are not factoring into this???? This is just a burner/independent burn software problem???????
That is a start. If that works out great, if not please post more details of your situation and what you are trying to do...burn to CD, VCD, etc. If the burn software is lost forever and you want to burn to CD and have XP, we could talk about using the CD burn feature of XP.
But, first things first.

Elements does use Sonic for CD burning - it's built into the program but I guess if you deleted some Sonic related files you could have messed it up. A repair or reinstall of Elements would fix that though. Were you able to burn CD's through Elements before you deleted the files?
